Euchre tourney in Dunbridge
DUNBRIDGE - The volunteer fire department will hold a bingo tournament tonight from 6 to 9 at the fire hall, corner of Ohio 582 and Dunbridge Road.
Sandwiches and pop will be available. The jackpot game will be played at 9 p.m.
Mermill bridge work starts
Construction work to replace the closed bridge on Mermill Road just east of the Interstate 75 overpass will begin Monday.
The work should be completed by Aug. 1.
Port Authority to meet Monday
The Wood County Port Authority will meet Monday at 7:30 a.m. at the Wood County Economic Development Commission office, 639 S. Dunbridge Road.
East side issues discussed in BG
Bowling Green City's Council's Community Improvement Committee will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St., to continue discussion of east side issues.
Zoning board meeting canceled
LIME CITY - The Perrysburg Township Board of Zoning Appeals meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been canceled.
The board will next meet May 13 at 6 p.m. in the township building at 26609 Lime City Road.
HOPE support group meets
HOPE, a support group for those who have experienced the suicide of a loved one, will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Conneaut Avenue.

Warning signs of suicide
PERRYSBURG – Wood County’s prevention consultant, Ann Huss, will present a training program for parents and teachers about suicide Thursday at 7 p.m. in the St. Rose School cafeteria.
Huss has 32 years experience as an educator and counselor. During the last six years she has given numerous presentations on depression and suicide prevention for parents, school personnel, and students, and at state conferences.
Wayne distributes food
