Chess club meets tonight
The Bowling Green Chess Club will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Grounds for Thought.
Casual games are played and players of all ability levels are welcome
The club meets every Tuesday to play.

Men arrested for domestic violence
Two men were arrested for domestic violence in Bowling Green over the weekend.
The first incident was reported in the 700 block of High Street just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Adam Lee Richhart, 30, Bowling Green, was arrested for domestic violence after an altercation with a
female.
The second incident, occurring in the 300 block of Campbell Hill Road, was reported at 10:50 p.m. Sunday.

Dustin Young, 31, Toledo, was arrested after an assault on a female at that address.
He left the area after the incident and was later arrested for police.
He was charged with domestic violence, aggravated menacing, drug abuse instruments, and possession of
marijuana.
Tractor club at mall this week
Power of Yesteryear Tractor Club is showing at the Woodland Mall through Sunday.
A kiddy tractor pull will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, with registration at 1 p.m.
Raffle tickets for a John Deere MT tractor will be sold Friday through Sunday.
Work begins at Ridge Elementary
Work began Monday on asbestos removal from the former Ridge Elementary building, Municipal Administrator
John Fawcett told Bowling Green City Council Monday night.
He expects that work to take approximately two weeks. Demolition will follow and is expected to take four
weeks, weather permitting.
The property will become a park, with development ideas still being reviewed.
Haskins-Poe work delayed
The Haskins-Poe Road intersection improvement project is now delayed until April 21.
Director of Public Works Brian Craft told Bowling Green City Council Monday night that the second delay
is due to weather issues. He said message boards will be put in place on Poe and Haskins roads in the
days before the project begins to remind motorists of the work.
