Rollover crash injures two
NORTHWOOD - Two people were injured in a rollover crash on an I-280 access road in the city Saturday.
Northwood Police report that the occupants, one man and one woman, were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
At 8:52 p.m. the vehicle was southbound on the access road when it rolled over. A dispatcher said this morning that the male was ejected, and that the female was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by mechanical means.
The incident is still under investigation and a full crash report was not available at press time.

Dress up in
castle costumes
at library Tues.
Children are invited to "be our guest" at the "Beast's Castle" and dress up in the castle costumes in the Children's Place of the Wood County District Public Library during the month of April.
Belle from the Bowling Green High School musical production of Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" will be our special guest at preschool story time Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. in the Children's Place.

Sex offense
reported
PERRYSBURG - Police were called to investigate a reported sexual offense in the city last week.
The incident, occurring April 1, was reported just after 10 p.m. on West Front Street and involved two juveniles.
The matter was turned over to detectives.

Civil Service
group meets
Bowling Green's Civil Service Commission meets Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Personnel Department on the top floor of the City Administrative Services Building.
The purpose of the meeting is to establish certified lists for certain positions.  The commission will also address any requests to modify, add, or abolish job descriptions and will take action to approve a list of certified classifications.
