Portage Twp. meets Tuesday
The Portage Township Trustees will hold a special meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the township hall corner of Huffman and Mermill roads
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss restrooms at the Portage Township Community Park.

Commission
cancels meeting
Bowling Green's Planning Commission has canceled its Wednesday meeting due to a lack of agenda items.
The next scheduled meeting is May 1 at 7 p.m. in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.

BG's CIC learns
of historic
preservation
The Community Improvement Committee of Bowling Green City Council will meet Wednesday to hear to a speaker from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office regarding services and programs available to communities interested in historic preservation.
The 2 p.m. meeting will be held in the City Administrative Services Building, 304 N. Church St.

Book group
meets Wed.
Read for Inspiration book group meets Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wood County District Public Library. The group, led by Deb Born, will discuss Jan Karon's "At Home in Mitford."
Light refreshments will be served, and copies of the group's May selection, "Just Shy of Harmony" by Philip Gulley will be available for check-out.

cancels meeting
LIME CITY - The April 3 meeting of the Perrysburg Township Board of Trustees has been cancelled due to lack of a quorum.

Fort Meigs
tour Thursday
PERRYSBURG - A tour of Fort Meigs with War of 1812 expert Dr. Don Hickey will he held Thursday at 4 p.m.
Hickey, of Wayne State University, and a noted historian, will join Fort Meigs staff on a walking tour of the site.
He is currently a visiting professor at The Citadel in South Carolina.
