Flood committee at Pemberville meets Tuesday
PEMBERVILLE – The Pemberville Flood Committee has called a special meeting for Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the
Village Hall.
A representative of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources will attend to talk with the committee about
a multi-purpose retention mound presented by Denny Henline at the March 18 meeting of Pemberville
Village Council.
The meeting is open to everyone.
Haskins-Poe closure delayed
The closure of Haskins Road (Ohio 64) at Poe Road has been postponed until Monday, April 14.
City Engineer Troy Sonner said weather is the reason with much frost remaining in the ground from the
cold winter.
The work was to have started April 7.
Poe Road will remain open to traffic during the construction. Access will be maintained to businesses in
a similar fashion to what was done during the North Main Street project.
Traffic from Poe Road will not be able to turn either north or south onto Haskins Road.
Assault reported at Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – An aggravated assault was reported in the city Wednesday.
The incident, occurring in the 27000 block of White Road, was reported to police at 2:20 p.m.
Additional information on the incident was not available due to the open nature of the case.
Montgomery meeting changed
BRADNER – The Montgomery Township Trustees are changing their meeting time to 6 p.m. from 7 p.m.
Also, the regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday has been rescheduled to Wednesday at the township
building, 1950 Mermill Road.

BG gas rate changes April 1
Bowling Green residents who are customers of Columbia Gas of Ohio and participate in the Bowling Green
Natural Gas Aggregation Program have a new fixed rate for the natural gas supplier portion of their
bill.
The gas supplier remains IGS Energy and the new fixed rate will be $0.619 per CCF, effective April 1
through the June 2014 billing cycle. Customers should note that the fixed rate does not include
applicable taxes and Columbia Gas of Ohio charges. More information is being mailed to participating BG
residents. Questions should be directed to IGS Energy at 1-800-280-4474.
