2 BG women injured in crash
Two Bowling Green women were taken to Wood County Hospital after a crash on Hull Prairie Road at Five Point Road, north of the city, Wednesday.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office reports that at 5:17 p.m. Joel Geerken, Waterville, was stopped eastbound on Hull Prairie at a stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection at Five Point Road, pulling in front of a vehicle driven by Kristi Coe, Bowling Green.
Coe and her passenger, Nikki Coe, Bowling Green, reported possible injuries and were taken to the hospital by Northwest 190 EMS and Middleton Township EMS, respectively.
Geerken and his passenger were unhurt.
Geerken was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

BG man pleads guilty to sex offenses
A 74-year-old Bowling Green man pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to two counts of gross sexual imposition.
Donald A. Caris is listed in court documents as residing at a Bowling Green motel. He was indicted for three counts of gross sexual imposition. Through a plea agreement, one of the counts will be dismissed at sentencing.
Caris entered the pleas before Wood County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Pollex.
The charges involve his actions with two young girls, a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old. According to the indictment, the offenses occurred between Oct. 1 and Nov. 16 last year.
A pre-sentence investigation was ordered with the sentencing set for 10:15 a.m. June 18.
