Memorial benefit set for Saturday
A memorial benefit for Aliyah Ramsey will be held Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Bowling Green Eagles on North Main Street.
Aliyah died at age 7 of juvenile diabetes.
The spaghetti dinner, along with live and silent auctions, will help cover funeral and medical expenses. A $5 donation is requested at the door.
Also being auctioned off is a live miniature horse and two hockey sticks signed by members of the 1989-90 Bowling Green State University hockey team.

I-75 traffic
The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two announces that effective immediately, until further notice, the ramp from southbound I-75 to Miami Street (Exit 199B) will be closed for gas line repair.

LIME CITY - Perrysburg Township offices will be closing at noon Friday.

BG Saturday
Ohio gubernatorial candidate Ed Fitzgerald will meet with Wood County voters Saturday at 2 p.m. at Grounds for Thought, 133 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
Fitzgerald will talk about his background as an FBI agent, mayor of Lakewood, and then as executive of the Cuyahoga County government. He will outline a vision for Ohio that contrasts sharply with John Kasich's failed leadership.

$100,000 theft
LIME CITY - Police are investigating the theft of more than $100,000 in tools and equipment stolen last week.
Perrysburg Township Police were called to a business in the 7000 block of Ponderosa Drive on March 18 for a theft report. The equipment was found to have been removed from a trailer and from a truck at the property. There was evidence that the vehicles had been forcibly entered.
