Portage Twp. Trustees meet
PORTAGE – The Portage Township Trustees will hold a special meeting on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. to discuss
a change in appropriations.
It will be held at the township hall at the corner of Huffman and Mermill roads.
Hoytville council meets Wed.
HOYTVILLE – Hoytville Village Council will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the council hall, 2418 S. Main
St.
BG board meets to approve union contract
The Bowling Green Board of Education will hold a special meeting Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at the
Administrative Offices building, 137 Clough St., for the purpose of board action on the collective
bargaining agreement between the Bowling Green Board of Education and the Bowling Green Education
Association.
Wheeled Meals annual meeting set for Thursday
The annual meeting of the Wheeled Meals organization in Bowling Green is set for Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in
the Guild Room at Wood County Hospital, near the cafeteria.
The meeting will include a breakfast provided by hospital kitchen personnel.
All persons associated in various capacities with the Wheeled Meals program are invited and an RSVP is
not required.
One person hurt in crash
One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Ohio 25 Friday, north of the city.
The incident occurred just before 3 p.m., south of Ohio 582.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office reports that William Baum, Bowling Green, was northbound on Route 25
when he struck a vehicle driven by Patricia Kitchen, Bowling Green, which had stopped to turn left.
Kitchen sustained non-incapacitating injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital by Medic 680 EMS.
Baum was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
