Perrysburg school board meets Monday
PERRYSBURG - A special meeting of the school board will be held Monday at 5:30  p.m. at the Commodore Building's third floor conference room.
The purpose of the meeting is discussion of staffing, enrollment, facilities, and personnel matters.
Based on discussion at this week's board meeting, the resignation of Woodland Principal Daniel Creps, recently chosen as Rossford superintendent, and the hiring of former Rossford Interim Superintendent Bill McFarland as interim Woodland principal, are expected to be topics.

Sharing Hands meal in Monday
LUCKEY  - Sharing Hands will serve a free meal for those in need Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at  American Legion Post 240, 335 Park Dr.  
If Eastwood Schools are closed due to  weather, the meal will be canceled.

Genealogy group meets Tuesday
The Wood County Chapter of Ohio Genealogical Society meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Wood County District Public Library Meeting Room.
The brief business meeting will be followed by Tom Boltz, WCOGS member and military researcher, who will share ideas on accessing and adding military information to genealogy research.

Wood workers meet Tuesday
The Northwest Ohio Wood Workers Guild meets Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Bowling green High School Ag ED/FFA classroom and shop.
The program features a bowl-making demonstration using the ring master device. All are welcome.

Road work to start Monday
Starting Monday and going through May, lane and shoulder restrictions are possible on Interstate 75 between the Ohio Turnpike and Buck Road for bridge repair.
On Monday through April, Bates Road at I-75 will be closed for bridge repair.

Boating classes offered in April
Two Ohio Boating Education Courses will take place in Wood County in April.
On April 1 and April 3, the Wood County Park District will host the two-part course from 5 to 9 p.m. The fee is $5.
On April 6, a one-day course will be offered at the Perrysburg Boat Club from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fee also is $5.
Pre-registration is required for both offerings.
The Ohio Boating Education Course covers a variety of boating topics such as navigation rules, boating and personal safety equipment, navigational signage, Ohio boating laws and more.
Ohio law requires any person born on or after Jan. 1, 1982, to be able to show proof they have successfully completed a boating safety course if they operate any watercraft powered by a motor greater than 10 horsepower
