Pedestrian struck by vehicle
A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car Tuesday in the city.
Bowling Green Police were notified of the incident at 7:45 a.m. at East Wooster Street just east of
Manville Avenue.
According to the crash report, Jordan Conn, Ottawa, was crossing East Wooster northbound in the crosswalk
when James Conny, Brunswick, northbound on Manville, turned onto East Wooster and struck Conn.
Conn reported non-incapacitating injuries and went to Wood County Hospital.
Rash of vehicle thefts reported in Perrysburg
PERRYSBURG – A rash of thefts from vehicles was reported in the city this weekend.
In all, a total of six incidents were reported on Saturday and Sunday.
The thefts, all valued at between $50 and $200, occurred in the 500 block of Ballybay Court, the 400
block of Bridgeview Drive, the 300 block of Southwood Drive, and the 200 block of East Boundary Street.

Additionally, incidents of suspicious activity were reported in the 500 block of Ballybay Court and the
300, 500 and 600 blocks of Bridgeview Drive.
A further theft was reported Tuesday in the 1000 block of North Redhawk Drive.
BGSU Drama Club fundraiser at Mr. Spot’s
On Saturday, the BGHS Drama Club parents have planned the 2nd annual Wine and Cheese Fundraiser at Mr.
Spot’s, 206 N. Main St., from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. to help support its musical production of "Mary
Poppins."
The fundraiser will help replenish Drama Club funds which were used last year to send students to the
International Thespian Conference after being selected to perform there.
Wine expert Norm Heineman will be on hand to serve and educate guests on wine selections from around the
world.
Entertainment will be provided by Julie Buzzelli and The Wandering Zattans.
There is no cost to enter, no minimum purchase required, and raffle prizes will be offered.
Proposed variance tabled
Chris and Linda Meyer, 1365 Devonshire St., have asked that their variance request to allow the existing
primary structure and proposed construction of an addition to that structure to encroach into the rear
yard setback with the closest encroachment (the proposed addition) being 10 feet into the required 30
foot rear yard setback be tabled to the next regularly scheduled meeting on April 9 at 7 p.m.
