Perrysburg Twp. cancels meeting
LIME CITY – The Perrysburg Township Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for this evening has been cancelled due to lack of quorum.
The upcoming April 3 meeting was also cancelled for the same reason.
The board will hold its next meeting April 17 at 6 p.m. in the township building on Lime City Road.

Alicia’s Voice fundraiser Thurs.
Alicia’s Voice will hold a fundraiser Thursday at the South Main Street McDonald’s in Bowling Green, from 4 to 7 p.m.
When ordering, mention you’re ordering for Alicia’s Voice, and the organization will get a percentage of sales.
The group also is collecting toiletry items at the event, including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, body wash, razors, laundry detergent and dish soap.

Three cited in liquor sweep
On Saturday, three local businesses had employees cited for selling alcohol to someone underage.
Bryan M. Davis, Bowling Green, was cited at Gas Express, 333 S. Main St.
Scott E. Mastrocinque, Findlay, was cited at South Side 6, 737 S. Main St.
Kenneth P. Zarecki, also of Bowling Green, was cited at Quik Stop, 402 E. Wooster Street.

Washington Twp. meets Thursday
The Washington Township Zoning Commission will hold a meeting on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Washington Township Hall.

Ambulance board meets
Mid-County Ambulance District board will meet at the building on County Home Road, Thursday at 3:30 p.m.

BBQ dinner at VFW Friday
VFW Post 1148, 719 S. Main St. in Bowing Green, will offer a barbecue dinner Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Carry-out meals will be available by calling (419) 353-6371.

Dowling Road closed Friday
Per CSX, Dowling Road at the railroad crossing near Carter Road will be closed this Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Brush pickup to start in Perrysburg Township
LIME CITY – Pickups for brush and other items will be starting shortly in Perrysburg Township.
In an announcement posted Monday, the township noted that roadside pickup will begin in late March, while spring brush pickup will commence April 1.
Residents are asked to be cautious while driving when crews are working along township roads.

Thank God for keeping Alicia's open. I met a former heroin user who had a boyfriend that liked to hurt her, and she is doing so much better now free of him, and Alicia's Voice provided the answer. She is one cool woman, and it's good to hear her story.
