Many crashes on Interstate 75 The southern portions of Interstate 75, especially near North Baltimore, proved treacherous this morning as an ice storm dropped freezing precipitation on much of Wood County. The Ohio State Patrol and the Wood County Sheriff's Office reported multiple accidents this morning on I-75, especially between mile posts 168 and 179 near North Baltimore. One injury accident was reported at the 186 mile marker. The Wood County Sheriff's Office was aware of approximately six vehicles that drove off the road due to the conditions in the North Baltimore area, but those had been cleared up by 7:45 a.m. No injuries were reported. Some mishaps were reported to the north later in the morning.
