Girl injured near
Perrysburg H.S.
PERRYSBURG – A girl was injured Tuesday morning in a crash at the entrance of Perrysburg High School.
According to Perrysburg Police, the two-car accident occurred at 7:40 a.m. at the school’s entrance on Roachton Road.
Fire Chief Jeff Klein said that one juvenile female was taken by Perrysburg EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, and indicated that her injuries were apparently minor.
The girl’s name was not immediately available.

Animal cruelty
charges dropped
JERRY CITY – Charges of animal cruelty and resisting arrest have been dropped against a village woman who was arrested early last month.
Bowling Green City Prosecutor Matt Reger confirmed this morning those charges against Heather Snyder, 33, were dropped.
She was initially arrested Feb. 3 during an incident in the 300 block of Main Street in the village.

High schoolers
speak to Rotary
A panel of high school speakers will present “Do It! Rotary Youth Exchange” Thursday for the BG Rotary Club.
The club meets at 11:40 a.m. at Bowling Green Country Club.

Meat loaf Friday
at Weston Legion
WESTON — American Legion Post 409, Main Street, will offer a meat loaf dinner Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The donation is $8 and carry-outs are available.

Perrysburg Twp.
holds traffic blitz
LIME CITY  – A traffic blitz in Perrysburg Township that began last week will continue through Monday.
The blitz will target U.S. 20, Ohio 25, Ohio 795, Ohio 65, and Oregon Road, with Township officers working additional hours to look for impaired drivers, enforcing traffic laws, and monitoring speeds and seatbelt violations throughout the township.
The blitz is funded by a grant from the Ohio Department of Public Safety/Governor’s Highway Safety Office, in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Walbridge sets special meeting
WALBRIDGE — Village council will hold a special meeting Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the town hall.
Agenda topics are pool improvements and an ordinance to move money for the improvements.

Thrivent group meets Sunday
WESTON — The March Thrivent Financial for Lutherans meeting will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 20425 Taylor St., Weston, on Sunday. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m.  
All Thrivent members are invited to attend.

Jiggs Dinner at BG Eagles
The Bowling Green Eagles will host a Jiggs Dinner, Saturday from noon until gone.
The club is located at 1163 N. Main St.
The cost is $8 and the public is welcome.
