Children's book author event set
Children and families are invited to the Children's Place of the Wood County District Public Library Wednesday at 4 p.m. to participate in a video Skype visit with author and illustrator Iza Trapani.
Trapani has published over 20 picture books, many of them based on favorite children's songs.  Her newest "The Bear Went Over the Mountain" is coming out in April.
Trapani will chat with children and families from her studio in New York and demonstrate her artwork until 5 p.m. Her video presentation will be projected on to a large screen for everyone to view.
The Children's Place is participating in this second annual World Read Aloud Day event sponsored by LitWorld, a nonprofit organization promoting advocacy, education, and innovation.
