Home Depot in Bowling Green will hold a Kids Workshop Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Tree work causes street closures in BG
During the week of March 4, certain street closures and parking restrictions will be imposed while tree work, utilizing a large crane, is conducted in the city.
On Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., East Merry between North Prospect and North Summit will be closed.
Also on Tuesday, West Merry between North Main and North Grove will be closed.
On Wednesday, South Grove between West Wooster and Pearl Street will be closed.
Also Wednesday, West Washington between South Grove and South Church will be closed.
Signs are posted on these streets designating the no-parking zones. Access for residents will be maintained.

'Moonrise Kingdom' at Way Library
PERRYSBURG - The Wes Anderson film "Moonrise Kingdom" will be shown at Way Library Tuesday at 2 p.m. as part of "Show Me the Movie" contemporary film series.
Bruce Willis stars as the local sheriff and Edward Norton is a scout leader in a New England town set on edge by the disappearance of two of its children on the lam.  As various quirky authorities try to hunt them down, a violent storm is brewing off-shore - and the peaceful community is thrown into chaos.

Farmers' Market holds info mtg.
The Downtown Farmers' Market managers invite all returning vendors, and area farmers, cottage food producers and artisans who are interested in becoming vendors to attend one of two informational meetings for the 2013 Farmers Market season in downtown Bowling Green.
Vendors from Wood County and its immediately neighboring counties are eligible to participate in the Downtown Farmers' Market.
The meetings are on Tuesday and Wednesday at 6 p.m. and are expected to last for an hour. They will be held at Grounds for Thought, 174 S. Main Street. Market operations manuals and vendor application forms will be available at the meetings, along with information on the 2012 Strategic Planning Study.

Frogs, toads Saturday topic
Frogs and toads will be the topics of a Saturday event with the Wood County Park District.
From 10  to 11:30 a.m., Frog and Toad Monitor Training will take place at Park District Headquarters on Mercer Road. Volunteers will be trained on how to conduct surveys and identify frog species by sight and sound.
