Probate court receives funds
Wood County Probate and Juvenile Court Judge David Woessner reports that the juvenile court received $205,151 in funds during 2012 through its participation in the federal government's Title IV-E program.
This program provides partial reimbursement to the court for probation activities designed to safely maintain delinquent youth in their own homes and for the cost of placement when that is not possible.
Additional uses will help fund the court's community supervision program and other probation services.
