Britt withdraws from House race
A man who filed to run for state representative withdrew his candidacy this week.
Earl Britt, who filed as a Democrat candidate for the third district of the Ohio House of
Representatives, took himself out of the race Tuesday, according to Debbie Hazard, deputy director of
the Wood County Board of Elections.
Britt stated in a letter his intent to withdraw but did not give a reason, she said. He would have faced
Republican incumbent Tim Brown and challenger Nathan Eberly, a Libertarian who remains on the ballot.

All other Wood County candidates were certified by the board of elections this morning, Hazard confirmed.

Driver cites snow as cause of Tuesday crash
