Girl Scout reunion set
All former and current Girl Scout leaders/volunteers are invited to a reunion on Thursday from 7 to 9
p.m. at DiBenedetos Italian Bistro, "Old Olive Lounge" located at 121 S. Main St., Bowling
Green.
This event will be a time to reminisce and reconnect with old friends. Bring pictures and memorabilia to
share.
Appetizers and fellowship is sponsored by the FRogs (FRiends of Girl Scouts).
Teen injured in head-on crash
PERRYSBURG – A teenage girl was injured Sunday in a head-on crash on Carronade Drive near Hull’s Trace
Drive.
Perrysburg Police reports that at 4:51 p.m. Regan Wallace 16, Sylvania, was northbound on Carronade Drive
when she lost control on the snowy road and slid into the southbound lane, striking a vehicle driven by
Maria Mendez, 37, Perrysburg, head-on.
Wallace was taken by Perrysburg EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee, with incapacitating injuries. She was
not listed as a patient there this morning. Her passenger, Sam Wallace, 13, Sylvania, reported
non-incapacitating injuries, and was treated on-scene.
Neither Mendez nor her passenger reported injury.
Regan Wallace was cited for failure to control. Mendez was cited for no license.
Hillary for president campaign in BG
The co-founder of the Ready for Hillary PAC, Dr. Hilda Black, will be at Grounds for Thought in downtown
Bowling Green Saturday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Black will talking about the potential campaign as well as distributing stickers and buttons.
Two cited for underage alcohol sales
Two people were cited for underage alcohol sales on Thursday.
Bowling Green Police report that Cynthia Turner, 25, BG, was cited at Circle K East, 1602 E. Wooster St.

Synthesia Martinez, 22, Rudolph, was also cited, after making a sale of alcohol at CVS Pharmacy, 212 E.
Wooster, to a 17-year-old.

Fostoria hospital offers heart screenings Thursday
FOSTORIA — ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital’s Wellness department is offering healthy heart
screenings Thursday from 6 – 9 a.m. in Conference Center A , on the hospital’s lower level, entrance 2.

The screenings will consist of free blood pressure and blood sugar
checks. Cholesterol screenings will include a coronary risk profile,
which is comprised of cholesterol, HDL and LDL cholesterol plus
triglycerides, for $15. Individuals should not eat 12 hours prior to the
screening, to receive the most accurate results.
Heart disease is a common health concern for many Americans because it
is the No. 1 killer in the United States. Today, a lot is known about
the causes of heart disease, including the kinds of things people can do
to prevent it. Free healthy heart information will be available at the
screenings as well.
