BG Community committee to meet Monday
Bowling Green City Council’s Community Improvement Committee will meet Monday at 6 p.m. to begin
discussing the formation of a City/University Relations Commission.
The session will be in council chambers.
BGSU plans to hire up to three police officers
The Bowling Green State University Police Department is accepting applications for an eligibility list
that will be used to fill anticipated openings this year. According to BGSU Police Chief Monica Moll,
the department is expecting up to three positions to open up due to retirements.
The deadline to apply for the police officer/cadet position is Feb. 14. Interested applicants can submit
information online through BGSU’s Human Resources website.
The job listed is under "Positions Now Available (Classified Staff)."
Five new officers, who were hired last year to fill vacancies left by retirements, have recently
completed their training and are now on the job.
