Brown Bag Music Series starts Friday
The Brown Bag Music Series will get underway Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Simpson Building,
1291 Conneaut Ave., with selections from Johann Strauss’s opera "Fledermaus."
Listeners are invited to bring lunch and enjoy the performance. Drinks and dessert will be available for
purchase.
The series is presented by the City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department and the College of
Musical Arts at Bowling Green State University.

Haskins home burglarized, man assaulted
HASKINS – Detectives are investigating a burglary at a village home early Wednesday.
The incident, in the 100 block of High Street, was reported at 1:53 a.m.
Two to three males reportedly broke into the home and the male resident was knocked out of a chair.
The man later went to a neighbor’s house to call the authorities.
The resident reportedly refused an ambulance.
Approximately $30 in currency was listed as stolen in a preliminary report.
Webster Twp. sets meeting
The Webster Township Trustees will hold a special meeting on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Webster Township
hall. This meeting is to select a new zoning inspector.

Eastwood school issue for a new K-4 building.
