MLK holiday closings, delays
The City of Bowling Green offices will be closed on Monday in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Refuse and recycling collection will be delayed by one day.
Bowling Green Municipal Court will be closed.
The Sentinel-Tribune will not be published.
Burglary reported in BG
A burglary at an apartment was reported on Manville Avenue Thursday.
The incident was reported to the Bowling Green Police Division just before 3 p.m.
The apartment in the 700 block reportedly had numerous items either damaged or missing, including cash
and medication.
Perrysburg man pleads to sex offenses
A Perrysburg man pleaded guilty to multiple sex offenses Monday in Wood County Common Pleas Court.
James B. Ivester, 49, pleaded guilty to three second-degree felony counts of pandering sexually-oriented
material involving a minor, one fourth-degree count of the same crime, and a fifth-degree count of
illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
Two of the pandering counts listed a specification for possible forfeiture of property. The incidents
reportedly occurred in summer and fall of 2011, and February and March of 2012.
Ivester’s case had initially been scheduled for a trial Thursday and Friday.
Sentencing in the case will be March 17 at 9 a.m.
Loan fund committee meets
Bowling Green’s Revolving Loan Fund Committee will meet Wednesday at 1:15 p.m. at the Bowling Green
Community Development Foundation Office, 121 E. Wooster St.
The committee will consider applications for the Business Revolving Loan Fund and discuss matters related
to current loans.
