‘Adopt’ a BG fire hydrant
The Bowling Green Fire Division is requesting citizens "Adopt" a fire hydrant near their home
or business and keep it clear of snow.
The fire division is stressing the importance of uncovering fire hydrants after this recent winter storm.

An area of approximately 3 feet should be cleared around the hydrant and a path to the hydrant should be
shoveled.
This allows firefighters to quickly locate a hydrant and obtain a water supply, if needed.
