The Wood County District Public Library and its branches have many events planned for this week.
Tonight at 6 is Puppet Pals Tutoring.
Trained tutors from BGSU help kindergarten - grade 5 students with reading skills and homework in the Children's Place Programming Room.
On Tuesday:
• 9:30 a.m. Technology Tuesdays. Very Beginning Computers, part 1. Registration required; call the Information Desk, 419-352-5104, to register.
• 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Preschool Storytime. Stories, fingerplays, and songs for ages 3 - 6. Children's Place Programming Room.
• 11:15 a.m. Walbridge Family Storytime. Stories, songs, rhymes, and movement activities for kids and caretakers. Walbridge Library, 108 N. Main St.
• 6 p.m. Everlasting Herbs. Family program at Simpson Garden Park (1291 Conneaut Ave).
• 6 p.m. Puppet Pals Tutoring. Trained tutors from BGSU help kindergarten - grade 5 students with reading skills and homework. Children's Place Programming Room.
On Wednesday:
• 10:30 a.m. Read for Inspiration Book Group. "A Light in the Window" by Jan Karon. Meets at the Carter House.
• 4 p.m. Paws for Reading. Kids age 5 and up, read aloud to Ben the therapy dog or to a reading buddy. Children's Place Programming Room.
• 6 p.m. Puppet Pals Tutoring. Trained tutors from BGSU help kindergarten - grade 5 students with reading skills and homework. Children's Place Programming Room.
On Thursday:
• 10:15 a.m. Listen Little Ones. Stories, songs, and rhymes for babies and toddlers with caregivers. Children's Place Programming Room.
• 4 p.m. Puppet Pals Tutoring. Trained tutors from BGSU help kindergarten - grade 5 students with reading skills and homework. Children's Place Programming Room.
• Beginning Ukulele Class. Learn to play the ukulele. Weekly lessons continue on Thursday nights through Oct. 17. All ages welcome. Registration required; call the Information Desk, 419-352-5104, to register.
