Larson resigns from EMS post after 17 days

NORTH BALTIMORE – Weeks after hiring a full-time, interim EMS chief, North Baltimore will again be
looking to hire for the same position.
EMS Chief Eric Larson submitted his resignation and his last day is Friday, Village Administrator Kathy
Healy confirmed Tuesday.
Larson , who was hired on April 15, has accepted another job offer.
Prior to being hired as the full-time, interim EMS chief, Larson served in the same position on a
part-time basis. Healy said no decisions have been made yet whether the village will hire from within
its existing pool of candidates or whether the position will be re-posted.
Larson was to be paid a $35,000 salary, including benefits, with a contract running May 1-Dec. 31.NORTH
