Johnson Controls receives honor

Community Employment Services of Wood Lane has named Johnson Controls its March employer of the month.

Nearly a year ago Johnson Controls Inc. of Northwood hired two individuals from CES to collect and bale
cardboard five days a week. Additional production lines started and they have hired an additional two
people per shift. There are 20 different workers at JCL.
During 2013, Johnson and Wood Lane received a $1,000 Blue Sky Award through Johnson’s corporate
responsibility program. The funds were used to purchase a shelter for another Wood Lane business in Wood
County. In addition the JCI workers and supervisors raised over $500 in case and numerous personal items
