A Wood County resident is serving as president of this year's Buckeye Boys State.
Richard Zulch, Jerry City, is a 16-year member of the Buckeye Boys State staff. He has served in the city government section and in several other officer capacities prior to being elected president last June.
Zulch has belonged to the Ohio American Legion for 41 years and has served in a number of local, state and national positions, including State Commander of the Ohio American Legion in 2001-2002.
Zulch is a retired from Complete Refrigeration Company. He and his wife, Gwen, have two children and six grandchildren.
