A series of incidents tied up traffic on Interstate 75 Friday afternoon between Bowling Green and North Baltimore.

At the noon hour a multi-vehicle crash was reported near the 168 milemarker. Injuries were reported.

About 2:30 reports started flooding the Wood County Sheriff's Office that a rental trailer was sitting in the middle of the northbound lanes of I-75.

The trailer had apparently come loose from its towing vehicle. No injuries were reported. However, traffic began to back up and offiers and a tow truck had trouble reaching the location to clear the scene.
