This past year the Wood County Humane Society found safe and forever loving homes for over 600 animals. The organization rescues sick and injured animals throughout the county, in addition to investigating complaints of suspected cruelty and neglect.
Community support helps maintain the only animal organization of this kind in all of Wood County.
The society's most recent fundraising campaign continues for about four weeks.
Every household within the Wood County community will be receiving a phone call from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday evenings asking for help in supporting the Wood County Humane Society.
Residents will be offered a choice of delicious pizza, gourmet coffee sampler, chocolate chunk cookie dough, roasted mixed nuts, and durable trash bags that are environmentally friendly, kitchen size 13 gallon and large refuse container size 33 gallon.
All products are fully guaranteed and will be delivered to your home with free delivery and no tipping.
