High winds create power outages and downed poles PDF Print E-mail

High winds Thursday resulted in downed poles and power lines throughout the county.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office received reports of low-hanging or downed wires at Mermill Road and Otsego Pike, and West Poe Road and Range Line Road in Weston. A power outage was reported in the 24600 block of River Road, rural Perrysburg, at 8:45 p.m.
No outages were listed in Wood County as of this morning.
Power poles were reportedly downed and in the roadways at Defiance Pike and High Street, Custar, and Hammansburg Road and Rudolph Road, North Baltimore. Another downed pole was reported in the 17300 block of Hannah Road, rural Bowling Green.

Hello.....Weston is in Wood County and there was a lengthly power outage there early this morning. Also north of Weston on Poe Rd.
