Wood County Health District will host the presentation of this year’s Clean Plate Awards at 6 p.m.
Thursday at the health district, 1840 E. Gypsy Lane Road.
The 2014 Clean Plate Award will be presented to 32 licensed food service operations out of more than 700

excellent sanitation and food safety knowledge within their facility.
The recipients will receive a certificate of excellence and a Clean Plate Award decal to display. This is
the fourth year the Wood County Board of Health will hand out the awards.
"Food service operations that receive this award meet pretty stringent criteria," said Brad
Espen, director of environmental services at the Wood County Health District.
