Through Nov. 20 McDonald's customers will have the opportunity to "Give A Hand" to support local Ronald McDonald House Charities by purchasing a paper hand in varying denominations of $1, $3 or $5. All fundraiser proceeds will benefit RMHC and support children and families in need in the Toledo community.
This fundraiser, along with many others, allows the Northwest Ohio RMHC to help more than 400 families each year, including those who travel to Toledo for their children's specialized medical needs. Families can stay at the Toledo House as long as their children are receiving medical care, and they can return as often as necessary for follow-up care. Services at RMHC are provided to guest families are free-of-charge, thanks to fundraisers like "Give A Hand."
