Grants gained for county bridge work PDF Print E-mail

The Ohio Public Works Commission awarded funding to assist with two Wood County bridge replacement projects.
County commissioners received notice of the grant funding totaling $468,092 last week.
Projects funded through these grants include Stearns Road at the intersection of Pursell Road in Perry Township; and Pemberville Road over the Toussaint Creek in Troy Township.
The estimated costs for these projects total $964,674, with bidding expected later this year.
Construction for these projects will be coordinated through the Office of the Wood County Engineer, Raymond Huber.
