Georgia man sentenced to 11 years for drug trafficking

A Georgia man was sentenced to 11 years in prison following a recent jury trial in Wood County Court of
Common Pleas.
Darrell Lynn Cowan, 57, Moreland, Georgia, was sentenced in the courtroom of Judge Alan Mayberry.
He had been indicted on a first-degree felony count of aggravated trafficking, with a major drug offender
specification. That specification stipulated that the offense involved the possession, sale, or offering
for sale of methamphetamine in the amount of 800 grams or more.
The original offense occurred on Sept. 10, 2013.
In addition to the sentence, he was to pay a fine of $10,000 and have his driver’s license suspended for
five years.
Also sentenced recently to prison were:
• William Blasingham, 40, Toledo, to six months for one count of theft.
• Robert Counts, 44, Chalmette, Louisiana, to one year for one count of passing bad checks.
• Anita Daniels, 39, Toledo, to one year for one count of carrying a concealed weapon.
• Michael Jordan, 39, Cleveland, to seven months for theft.
• Bradley Wolfe, 24, Perrysburg, to an aggregate of nine months for one count of tampering with evidence
and one count of abduction.
