Genoa man seriously hurt when his truck hits house

MILLBURY – An allegedly drunken motorist stuck a house early this morning on Ohio 163, west of
Bradner Road, in Lake Township.According to the Bowling Green Post of the State Highway Patrol, Jesse Molina
Jr., 36, of Genoa, was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger westbound on Ohio 163 around 3:05 a.m. when the truck went
off the north side of the road, struck a tree, rotated and then struck a house.Molina sustained serious, but
non-life threatening injuries and was taken by Lake Township EMS to St. Charles Hospital, the patrol
said.The house’s front porch was damaged and there was also possible additional damage to its foundation.
The homeowner was not displaced as a result of the damage, and none of the home’s occupants were
injured.Molina was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to maintain reasonable
control.Troopers were assisted at the scene by the Lake Township Fire Department, Lake Township EMS, Lake
Township Police Department, and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
