The Bowling Green Bicycle Safety Commission reminds everyone that Friday has been designated as the official Bike to Work or School Day.
Two local businesses have special offers for those who ride their bikes on Friday.
In cooperation with Grounds for Thought, all bicycle commuters are invited to visit the coffee shop located at 174 S. Main St. any time during the day to spend time with other bicyclists and enjoy complimentary coffee and doughnuts to help fuel the ride. The city will present a proclamation at 7:45 a.m. in the coffee shop.
Chipotle Mexican Grill, at 1558 E. Wooster St., will offer free chips and guacamole for folks who ride their bikes to the restaurant from 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday.
