French Quarter sting nets six arrests for prostitution PDF Print E-mail

LIME CITY - The Wood County Sheriff's Office has released details of a prostitution sting at the Holiday Inn French Quarter hotel on Fremont Pike in Perrysburg Township.
The undercover operation, which took place Feb. 22, netted six arrests, including the hotel's night manager, on solicitation charges.
The operation was conducted in conjunction with the Perrysburg Township and Northwood Police Departments, the Ohio Attorney General's Office, and the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.
Arrested were Perrysburg resident Hiral Kholhal, 26, the night manager at the hotel; James Nickles, 42, Elmore; Jorge Ramos-Crus, 20, Norwalk; and Toledoans Dominique Burkes, 26, Renee Champion, 27, and Nagib Mahmud, 22.
All were charged with solicitation of prostitution, a third-degree misdemeanor, through Perrysburg Municipal Court.
The cases of Burkes, Champion, and Mahmud are awaiting pre-trial hearings in the court later this month.
Information on the status of the other cases was not immediately available this morning.
