Four arrested in prostitution sting

ROSSFORD – Four men were arrested in a recent prostitution sting at a hotel near the city.
According to a Friday press release from the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, that agency, the Rossford
Police Department, Perrysburg Township Police, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ohio Bureau
of Criminal Identification and Investigation conducted the joint vice operation.
Arrested for solicitation of prostitution, a third-degree misdemeanor, were Timothy R. Hartzler, 65,
Bluffton; Gary E. Noplis, 42, Palmyra, Mich.; Jim A. Pheils, 46, Toledo; and Michael W. Pinter, 35,
Lyon, Mich.
