Former officer indicted for theft PDF Print E-mail

A former Wayne village police officer has been indicted by a Wood County Grand Jury for six counts of theft in office.
Rick Goatee Jr., 34, is alleged to have used a state computer database to access information on people, outside the scope of his duties with the police.
The six counts list the offenses occurring earlier this year from April 8 to May 24.
Goatee's case is assigned to Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Pollex. He is to be arraigned on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
In addition to Goatee, 15 other individuals were indicted with another nine persons being charged through bills of information issued by the grand jury.
In addition to Pollex other cases have been assigned to Judges Reeve Kelsey and Alan Mayberry.
Arraignments before Mayberry are set for Friday at 1 p.m., while Kelsey will conduct the arraignments in his court on Monday at 1 p.m.
Others indicted included:
¥    Miguel Guiterrez, 28, of Toledo, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor child under the age of 15. (Kelsey)
¥    Peter Huffman, 20, of Toledo, for one count of felonious assault and one count of aggravated assault, including the use of deadly force. The charges stem from an incident in downtown Bowling Green in the early hours of Aug. 23. (Kelsey)
¥    Heather Sondergeld, of Cherry Street, Perrysburg, was indicted with two counts of theft, including more than $2,500 worth of merchandise from a Perrysburg home. Items allegedly were sold to a pawn shop, including a computer, box sets of DVDs, watches and tools. The indictment lists those items being taken from October 2008 through September of this year.
The other count alleges theft from a different person on or about Oct. 11-12. (Kelsey)
¥    Staci Wilson, 24, of Toledo, for gross sexual imposition with a 20-year-old female in December 2007. (Kelsey)
¥    Michael Lawson Jr., 35, of Oak Harbor, for theft of a trailer valued at more than $500. (Mayberry)
¥    Kinley Kelm, 31, listed in prison, for escape. (Mayberry)
¥    Perry Rummel, 35, of Haskins, identity fraud. (Pollex)
¥    Amanda LaPlante, 24, of Toledo, aggravated possession of drugs. (Mayberry)
Bills of information were handed down for the following individuals.
¥    Dustin O'Shea, 21, of Toledo, burglary. (Pollex)
¥    Corey Maciejewski, 32, of Toledo, theft. (Mayberry)
¥    Erik Norris Jr., 22, of Flint, Mich., aggravated assault. (Pollex)
¥    Paul Maynard, 35, of Fairview Avenue, having weapons while under disability. (Kelsey)
¥    Jeremy Swick, 19, of Findlay, possession of drugs. (Mayberry)
¥    Cassie Warner, 23, of Rossford, receiving stolen property. (Pollex)
¥    Robert Hahn, 46, listed in the county jail, receiving stolen property. (Pollex)
¥    Estel Shane Ludwig, 23, listed in the county jail, possession of drugs. (Kelsey)
