Five men were indicted for sex crimes by a Wood County grand jury recently.
Han Xiao, 22, currently of Bowling Green, was indicted on one count of rape and one count of sexual battery following a Sept. 13 incident involving a 20-year-old woman who, according to the indictment, had her ability "to resist or consent ... substantially impaired."
Joseph Mateo, 54, Jerry City, was indicted on one count of rape following a July 5 incident involving a 10-year-old child. A specification in the indictment notes that Mateo "is a sexually violent predator."
Timothy Silsby, 32, Perrysburg, was indicted on one count of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor following a Feb. 9 incident.
Matthew Donald, 30, Temperance, Mich., was indicted on one count of rape following sexual conduct with a 9 year-old boy between June 1 and July 31 of this year.
Garrath Devaughn, 32, Winder, Ga., was indicted on one count of gross sexual imposition regarding an April 23 incident involving a 12-year-old girl.

‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Edwardo Boomer Sr., 50, Toledo, carrying a concealed weapon.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Aaron Danklefsen, 31, currently of Bowling Green, receiving stolen property.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Stephen Ekleberry, 27, Findlay; and Justin Hepperly, 26, McComb, aggravated trafficking (two counts each).
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Dustin Garcia, 24, currently of Bowling Green, receiving stolen property (two counts).
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†David Healey Jr., 23, Perrysburg, forgery.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Rodricus Johnson, 27, Frankfurt, Ky.; and Brittany Wilson, 24, Frankfurt, Ky., one count each of possessing criminal tools, aggravated trafficking and aggravated possession of drugs.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Tracy Knee-Nichols, 44, Toledo, misuse of credit cards.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Deangelo Lewis, 26, Detroit, possession of drugs (three counts).
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†William Patterson, 32, North Baltimore, possession of heroin.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Darrell Reed II, 25, Bowling Green, robbery.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Bobby Robinson, 24, Carson, Calif; and Christopher Bustamante, 31, Montebello, Calif, one count each of possessing criminal tools, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in heroin, possession of cocaine, and possession of heroin.
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Zane Rose, 27, currently of Bowling Green, violation of a protection order.
A bill of information was handed up for:
‚ÄĘ¬†¬† ¬†Jeremy Kohn, 27, Oregon, forgery.
