Five people were arrested following two reported brawls in the downtown area early Sunday.
BG Police were called to the 100 block of North Main Street after the report of a physical fight
involving multiple individuals outside of the Clazel Theatre around 2:30 a.m.
A number of people at the scene reportedly scattered upon the arrival of police, but four were caught and
charged.
Arrested were Joshua Easterday, 22, Findlay and David Gatton, 25, BG, each on one count of disorderly
conduct/fighting; Zackary Ahumada, 18, Walbridge, for disorderly conduct with persistence, obstruction
of official business and resisting arrest; and Brandon Santiago, 19, Toledo, for disorderly conduct,
obstruction of official business and resisting arrest.
Police reportedly physically engaged with both Ahumada and Santiago in order to bring them into custody.

At 2:51 a.m. another fight, involving several people on the roadway, was reported at North Main and Court
Street. The incident involved a female that police attempted to take into custody.
The female, later identified as Jessica M. Ross, 23, Toledo, reportedly struggled with officers and
refused to provide her name.
She was initially booked as a "Jane Doe" but her ID was reportedly found on her person after a
search at the Wood County jail and Ross was positively identified.
She was charged with assault, obstructing official business and resisting arrest.
