(Updated at 7:32  a.m. 5-22) Bowling Green firefighters and Bowling Green State University police are investigating an apparent arson scene at a construction trailer fire early this morning. The incident took place at the former Rodgers Quadrangle site on East Wooster Street. The site is now known as the South Central Residence Hall.

BGSU officials said a 911 call reported the fire just after 4:30.  A review of a video of the site indicates an individual going from trailer to trailer and then apparently starting a fire in one of the trailers. The trailer is owned by Gardner Corp., the concrete contractor for the project.

The building is to be completed by August 2011. Rodgers Quadrangle was demolished earlier this year to make room for the project.
