A Michigan man was arrested Sunday on a felony drug charge while in a parked vehicle at Prospect and
Court streets.
Bowling Green Police report the incident occurred at 1:39 a.m. Officers located subjects in the vehicle,
in which there was also an open container of alcohol. Consent was given to search the vehicle, and
officers discovered marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and what was suspected to be the prescription drug
Adderall.
As a result, Kelly Valentine, 27, Gibraltar, Mich., was arrested and taken to jail on a charge of
aggravated possession of a Schedule II drug, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug
paraphernalia.
Two passengers in the vehicle, James Lester II, 27, Gibraltar; and Robert Sharkey, 22, Trenton, Mich.,
were each cited for open container of alcohol.
