WAYNE – One woman was taken to the hospital following a Dec. 19 crash on Ohio 199.The Wood County
Sheriff’s Office reports that at 5:20 p.m., Erica Brizzi, Fostoria, was southbound on Route 199 in the 7000
block behind a FedEx truck driven by Lisa Trumbull, North Baltimore.Trumbull stopped or slowed to turn into
a driveway at 7600 Route 199, and Brizzi began to pass Trumbull as she turned.Brizzi subsequently struck
Trumbull as she was turning.Both vehicles came to rest off the east side of the roadway.Trumbull was taken
to Fostoria Community Hospital by Pemberville EMS with possible injuries.Brizzi was cited for passing a
motor vehicle in the same direction.
