|Fatal accident numbers down in Wood County|

LIME CITY - Wood County has experienced nearly half the number of fatal crashes it experienced during the same period last year.
The statistics were released Wednesday by Wood County Safe Communities.
There have been nine fatal accidents so far this year, down from 16 at this time in 2012.
OVI-related fatals have been reduced from six last year to 2 this year, and there have been no fatal crashes involving commercial vehicles, compared to four during the same period last year.
Motorcycle-related fatalities have risen to four this year, from 1 during the past two years.
