Michael Kreais is a lifelong resident of Wayne, Ohio. He recently retired after 23 years as an equipment operator for the Wood County highway garage in Bowling Green. Before working for the highway garage, Kreais worked at a handful of stone quarries in Wood County for 20 years. He also served in the army, building bridges in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Kreais has been married for 46 years to his wife and high school sweetheart Judith, a retired county work, and has two sons, Michael Kreais and Brian Kreais, in addition to Pheobe and Toby — the family dogs.
