Mary Sehmann is the coordinator for Wood County Special Olympics and has been in the position at Wood
Lane for 23 years. She spends much time organizing events in addition to attending Special Olympics
events around Ohio. Sehmann is originally from Hartford, S.D., but moved to Bowling Green after college
with her husband, Scott. They have been married 26 years. Outside of work she spends a lot of time with
family, including her two daughters, Marissa, a Bowling Green State University sophomore, and Emmy, a
