Deborah Zimmerman and her “ugly Christmas
sweater,” worn for the ugly sweater contest Wednesday at North Baltimore Library is this week’s familiar
face. She is the assistant children’s coordinator for the library, where she has been for two years. She is
also a circulation clerk in the adult section of the library. Earlier, she coordinated volunteers in the
library at St. Michael School in Findlay. She and her husband, Gary, are both Marine Corps veterans and have
been married for 24 years. They have three children: Gary III, a senior at BGSU; Gabriella, a sophomore at
