LIME CITY - Perrysburg Township trustees Wednesday approved an enterprise zone agreement for an expanding business.
Lako Tools, 7400 Ponderosa Road, requested a 10-year, 100-percent tax abatement.
The company, which has been located in the township since 1973, manufactures sealing, cutting and punching solutions for the packaging industry and currently employs 26 people.
They are planning an 8,000 square-foot addition to their current facility, and seek to add eight full-time positions.
Business at the firm had reportedly doubled in recent years.
The matter will next go before the Wood County Board of Commissioners for approval.
