LIME CITY - A store employee was injured, and two people arrested, after an armed robbery in Perrysburg Township early Wednesday.
Perrysburg Township Police report that at 6:40 a.m. the Subway restaurant, 10677 Fremont Pike, was robbed by a white female. The female reportedly used an undisclosed weapon and injured the employee working at the restaurant during the incident.
The victim was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, Maumee, for treatment of her injuries.
Township officers responded to the scene and during the investigation were able to determine the identity of the suspect and her possible location.
Officers subsequently responded to the EconoLodge motel located directly behind the Subway, and which is located within the City of Perrysburg. After acquiring a search warrant, officers entered Room 121 of the motel and arrested two suspects there at 9:15 a.m.
Arrested were Amanda Columber, 25, with her address listed as the EconoLodge, for aggravated robbery, felonious assault, and a warrant for larceny; and Chad Martin, 30, also of the EconoLodge, for felony drug paraphernalia.
Columber is being held on $80,000 bond at the Wood County jail, and Martin is being held on $30,000 bond.
Both were set to appear in court today.
