Early morning crashes injure 2

Two people were injured in separate crashes early this morning in Wood County.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash at 12:39 a.m. on Eagleville Road at Interstate 75.

Elizabeth Heldberg, North Baltimore, was westbound on Eagleville Road when she lost control of her
vehicle and drove off the north side of the road, striking a concrete post at the I-75 underpass.
Heldberg was taken to Wood County Hospital by North Baltimore EMS.
The crash report was incomplete.
At 2:32 a.m., on Ohio 25, south of the U.S. 6 ramp, Taylor Pospisil, Liberty Center, was southbound on
Route 25 in the right lane and then changed lanes in order to turn left.
She was subsequently struck by Melissa Vetter, Bowling Green, who was southbound in the left lane behind
Pospisil.
Pospisil was taken to Wood County Hospital by Mid County 120 EMS.
She was cited for reasonable control.
